Where we work :  Charity work

where we work

Good Deeds Alliance Foundation work in all regions of the world where we find genuine cases especially as regards issues with women and children. This means our quest for good works holds no boundaries.

Furthermore, we mobilize support ranging from health and medical care, education, sustainable development, democracy and good governance, arts and culture, environmental conservation, food and agriculture, advocacy, and wildlife protection.

How we work : Charity work

Our objectives: Our primary focus has been on helping vulnerable women, orphans and underprivileged children worldwide. We also selectively support charitable causes in other areas such as healthcare and education.

Our operating model: We aim to operate with minimal overhead. Our core team has been working on a volunteer basis since the charity’s inception. We are also grateful for the support given to us by other volunteer contributors over the past years. Please see the Get Involved section to learn how you can contribute as well.

Our approach: We exercise due care when choosing which projects we support. We follow up in order to try to ensure that the funds are spent efficiently and as intended. We also welcome the use of our infrastructure by other parties for facilities initiatives within the scope of our objectives. Such third-party projects which are channeled via Good Deeds Alliance Foundation are subject to the same due diligence process as our own projects.

Our charity projects: We have funded numerous projects in Africa in the areas of maternal care, childcare, healthcare and education. Our preference has been for investments in capital and tangible assets which can provide utility over a period of time to multiple recipients. Our charity projects have also been bite-sized as to be commensurate with our scope in order to make sure we can carry them to fruition and achieve results within a reasonable frame of time.

Why We Work  :  Charity work

It is without doubts that the charity sector offers a rare feel-good factor to a huge number of employees, giving workers the chance to make a real difference by helping the people who need it most. But charity work isn't easy. You need passion, commitment and dedication, as well as a willingness to get the job done, no matter what it takes. But it is also one of the most rewarding sectors of all to work in. We think so because the importance of charitable work is obvious and this importance transcends countries, cultures, and religions.

There are a number of different answers to why we work for charity.

First and foremost, it is important to work for someone or something other than yourself. The purpose of life is not to accumulate assets or to hoard goods while others are in need. Life is more purposeful when you receive and also give.

When you support charities, it can inspire others to do the same.  This multiplies the good work which is why we strive to live a life of doing good so many can be inspired and join in this noble task of kindness.

We also work because we want to give back to ourselves. We believe supporting charities is a way of giving back to you. You never know when you or someone you love will need the charitable outreach you have been supporting.  We are all connected and we believe that every child is your child.

Furthermore, supporting charities to us is a way of receiving inspiration and encouragement as you see people from around the world come together for the purpose of doing good by giving to those in need. When you read the newspaper or listen to a news channel and see a particularly horrifying story, it helps to have a little good news to counterbalance it.

More so, social media : Google +,  Facebook, Twitter , linkedin , Pinterest etc  and the internet in general can be used for good or bad. We choose to use it for good and we ask you to join us in doing so as well. Be aware that "A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love"
